InsideBooks
Every taka on a project, from the client to the site.
InsideBooks is the accounts and expense book for a fit-out or construction firm: client money in, cash handed to engineers, what each project has cost, and what is still owed.
What InsideBooks does
01Follow the cash
Client payments, funding to the accountant, advances to engineers and what comes back: Cash Position shows who is holding how much at any moment.
02Cost and profit per project
Each project shows income, spend, budget by head against actual, and profit — with the site's progress beside the money.
03Spending needs approval
A site expense passes the project manager and the owner before it is marked paid. The rule is enforced by the server, not just hidden on a screen.
04Vendor bills, with the papers
File a vendor's bills against a project with photos or PDFs. Billed, approved, paid and due are separate figures, however many instalments it takes.
05Invoices and what is overdue
Raise customer invoices, link the receipts, and see in one place what clients owe you, what you owe vendors and what engineers still hold.
06Each role sees its own part
Owner, accountant and engineers each get their own screens; salaries are for the owner's eyes only. It works on a phone at site.
